Is it possible to work from home as a project manager? If so, how and where can I find these kinds of positions? For clarification there are two situations here – the Home Based project manager and the Work-from-Home project manager. The Home Based PM is someone who doesn’t have a designated office location in their employment contract for reasons that make economic sense to an organisation. By and large these PMs will also be working where their “client” wants them to be. So whilst they are Home Based in a contract sense, they actually spend a large proportion of their time away working at different sites. The Work-from-Home project manager does in fact spend a large proportion of their time working out of their home location
