A funny thing happened today. I had cleared my morning to focus on a few key tasks that would move my digital products forward. There were major topics that needed to be addressed, like how my executive sponsor had reportedly questioned the value of one of my products. Oh yeah, and other little things like … you know … regulatory compliance. I rolled in this morning with the intention of dedicating at least a few hours to each of these priorities. Then, at an 8:15 am meeting, my colleagues and I were assigned to update a detailed project plan … a project plan that I thought we had already beaten to death multiple times.
