Time to celebrate the people in project management

Really looking forward to (finally) celebrating the launch of the Handbook of People in Project Management next month. It started back in 2011 for me when I was asked by Gower Publishing to edit the book alongside Dennis Lock. What an epic journey it has been – bringing together over 50 individual contributors to write chapters on everything and anything about the people aspects in project management. It’s a book that’s long overdue in my opinion – we know how important the people and behavioural bits are in project management and yet it’s only taken until now to give it the attention it deserves. If you’re seriously into the people aspects of the project management industry and fancy coming along to the celebration, click to find out more we will be hearing from some of the authors; time for networking over a nibble and drinks; and generally having a conversation all about the people aspects of project management at the National Centre for Project Management.
