You’ve probably seen the Project Management Career Workshops we launched earlier in the year; we decided to do these based on a number of reasons. The main reason for me is that looking through the thousands of candidates we have registered with us – one thing is clear – project management practitioners are not great at putting together a CV. A sweeping statement? No – about 95% of CVs we’re currently holding could be so much better. Writing Better Project Management CVs Organisations are looking for great project managers – fact. The problem with the CV is that it’s hard to write about the “great” things you’ve done. Project management practitioners focus so much on the “what” I’ve done rather than the “how” – and its in the how that really demonstrates how great you really are.
